DirectToAir

Overview

DirectToAir is an equipement, allowing to create a DVB multiplex from SD-SDI sources (PAL or NTSC) and to broadcast them on a coaxial network according COFDM standard (or an other standard to fit client needs).

The system is fully autonomous, it encodes audio and video streams directly extracted from SDI signal and encapsulates them in an MPEG-2/TS stream, so it does not need any supplemental encoding devices. Configuration and supervision are done by a simple web browser, according the user to modify some parameters like modulation frequency, encoders bitrate or service description (name, number, PIDs, etc).
